Plus removing him from the outfield right now is probably not the best idea...

No, in the playoffs, JBJ needs to be in the lineup everyday even if he isn't hitting.

And Holt is hotter than the hinges of hell. Interesting decision for Cora.

sending all the meats to the grill and hotter than the hinges of hell.

this is by far my favorite thread right now.

I mentioned that configuration, but maybe this is better:

JD at DH

Pearce at 1B

Holt in RF

Betts in CF

thats what i said in last nights GT but i am still hesitant to remove JBj from CF.

I've heard that one before.

i mean...he is .830 OPS so far in the 2 postseason games. 2 for 8 with 3 BB and only 2k's. what the f*** more do you want?

I never said he wasn't hitting. All I said was that I've heard people say over and over again that JBJ is due to break out. He's not "due". He's hitting just fine.

That's ok. I go with brevity because I don't want to 1,000 word "missives" that everyone ignores. Unfortunately, that leaves room for substantial interpretation.

Who sits if JBJ plays? Kinsler I imagine. Kinsler has a history of hitting Lefties pretty darn good. Not Months, Years. Edited by OH FOY!

i could see holt getting another start at 2b tonight.

if he's sitting i will be shocked.

I think we have to send his meat to the grill, don't you?

Before this year Kinsler was a .300 career hitter against Lefties, in 12 years. Play Kinsler and sit Nunez could work too. Holt to 3rd. Guys that played last night didn't hit Severino before last nights game, so who knows. Edited by OH FOY!

Me too, I'd just assume bench Kinsler or Devers/Nunez to get Holt into the line-up. Keep JBJ in the expansive Yankee Stadium CF.

I've kind of lost faith in Nunez. I'd be fine with Kinsler at 2B and Holt at 3B. We can PH for Kinsler and move Holt to 2B later in the game.

I've never heard either expression.

I like both.

I hope Cora can keep that Midas touch going! The Houston series is going to be a tough mother...

extra drama with him being on their coaching staff last year. TBS/media will play that up.
