Nice win by the 2nd team. Holt never embarrasses no matter where he plays. A real keeper.
Holt has been much better than he was the last two years. Being healthy is the key for him.

The SOX had their 'meaningless' line-up out there while the Guardians had their 1st team. I'm pretty sure even Guardians' fans noticed that.

Hard to miss. When we got a save opportunity, we went back to Kimbrel and I am glad Cora did. This win has to put some doubt in the Guardians fans minds.

And just like that we won with the bench LOL!

105 boys. We are watching history.

8 games to go and if we split those we would be at 109 wins. Hard to believe. One more win or 1 loss by Houston and we clinch home field advantage in the PO's. Looks like that will also happen.

Once again, I'll say it: it sure sucks how the rest of the league has learned how to pitch to the Sox. This time, there's no excuse for bad managers and RP'ers. We beat Beiber, who has been a very capable pitcher all year.

This team can hit and always could. All teams slump at times, and the thing is, we still won, even when we slumped.

I'm hopeful we will hit well in the playoffs, but who knows?

Good for Tzu-Wei Lin and Sam Travis. Nice to see young guys making impact at MLB level. Game was pretty stress free as it didn't really matter, which is rare that I say. Solid win by the backups.

We have a three game series left against the Orioles, we should definitely get home field throughout playoffs.

What you want is the A's to stay as close as possible to the Yanks, so both teams have to use all their starters as long as possible, especially the BP's, so neither one really gets no rest. Sox got the best record no problem, for homefield. Wonder how the Sox play the Yanks on final day if it happens if both the Yanks and A's are tied? Only 2 games in the lost column, still close. Yanks are playing everyday till final game, with no days off, at this point. Edited by OH FOY!

You have your opinion and I have mine. We will just have to see how it plays out.

Although most of the guys that hit last night will not even be on the roster in October

Be afraid; be very afraid. Btw, Cora also terrifies me.

This team’s going into the playoffs cold. Does cora expect this team to turn the light switch on?

You two are the champs.

Great for him. He can play. On a night with 12 hits and everybody except JDM having hits (he walked twice), LTime to think of something like a rest period while Vaz catches. I still question whether both Vaz and Leon will make the PO roster.

Our bench guys played a great game. The only two guys who didn't get a hit last night were the two regular starters in the line up, JD and Leon. Go figure.

I'm happy for Lin. His comments about his home run are priceless.

Just as the quest for the division title has been over for a while, the quest for HFA throughout the playoffs is ovaaaah.

Agreed. Let's hope the race between the As and the Yanks goes down to the final game.

I think that Cora will likely put his starting line up out there for the final game, regardless of what's going on with the Yankees.

Will you change your mind, if we keep scoring 7+ runs to end the season?
