Cora giving every possible reasonable doubt to Pom, and Drew fails. End of discussion on many threads, hopefully. DL him for lack of cranial-limb connection

Well Poms has gone nearly 10 innings and given up only 4 runs. That’s a good thing...........

I’m trying to be positive ok :(

Seems like Cora has seen enough. Probably it was the last time we see Pom in Red Sox uniform as starter. The bad news is that Hembree comes to the mound.

I know Leon is catching to give POM all the help he can get, but I believe POM would be just as unsuccessful with SWI catching.

Is swi back or is Butler still up.

Actually now that I think about it, could probably make the same case for butler

s***** outing by Pomeranz...again. Five walks....no command. Get him out of the rotation please.

I though that his stuff was better today. It is the walks that are still the problem.

The question is. Does anyone think Poms can be successful with another team? Do what Clay Bucholtz is kind of doing. Or is he toast?

Poms at least showing that he cares that he sucks. Looked pissed in the dugout.

He cares because he can see his contract for next year disappearing. I have nothing against Pomeranz, but the fact is that there are much better options. I would like to see him DFA'd as soon as ERod returns.

Butter him up and apply the grape jelly.

Completely agree.

Its his overall command-and the fact that he can barely reach 90 with his "fastball"....along with the fact that he has only two pitches.

Pom has not looked good all year, and he's barely improving at all.

His record in 2016 and 2017 are formidable enough to not totally give up on him, but I'm not sure how much longer a leash you can give the guy.

It would be great, if we could trade him, pay part of his contract and get back below the max luxury tax line.

Well, it resumes pretty well what he is these days.
