He's tired. He probably should be out of the game already

Yeah, got a bit fatigued, you could tell too. But he got the job done. Very encouraging outing.

Well, Freddy Kruger just went 6 giving up 1 against the Orioles. But not without some pain for us watching.

Really, I felt like he was in cruise control for most of 6 innings. I wern’t scared

Agree. Despite my criticism, a great 2d start.

AGREED! IF he had lost, I would be BITCHING about the Dice-K pace of the game! It's a bit brutal to watch, but winning makes the time SEEM TO fly.

Now I'm freaking out that there are 3 innings to go after this.....

Thank god that was the speedster Mooreland coming home :0

Actually, we owe this to Mooreland hustling & unbelievably beating out the double play.

I'm more of a chicken fettuccine fan myself when eating at Olive Garden.

Why would you eat at Olive Garden? Don't you have Italian Restaurants where you live?

Sweet!

Good to see Devers hit well. I think someone wanted to rest him tonight.

ERod was buttah. 6 IP/ 104 pitches is same ole-same ole, but I'll take it !

The pen seems a little shaky still, but a win is a win.

I’m worried about Hanley’s wrist. We have seen with other players over and over how hand injuries can linger the entire season sapping power.

Coco Crisp woulda caught it.

I thought about this for awhile. I rewatched the play on both nesn and Baltimore feed. JBj first step and route was perfect. The ball was hit so hard it caused him to do the awkward sprinting “jump” at the ball as it whistled over his head. It was a great try and would most certainly been a 5star catch. All that said, coco may have caught it

Hanley says he feels good. Cross fingers.

Suddenly the offense is clicking, imagine Bogaerts, Pedroia, Hanley all back. JD Martinez is stinging lots of hits soon to RF with warmer weather.

On this homestand, now 7 games, the Sox have scored 3, 10, 8, 14, 7, 6, and 7 runs: 8 runs per game. Bogaerts, easily our hottest hitter, was injured in the last game of the road trip, so these 7 games have been without him.

The five Sox leaders in rbi's are a tight shot group: HamRam 12, JD 11, Betts 11, Devers 10, and the absent Bogaerts 9.

The bottom third of the order is weak, but they also led that huge 8th inning rally vs. the Rays last weekend.

To be honest, I don't dislike Olive Garden. They do have excellent salad and their food is wholesome and usually appetizing.

But it is not really Italian cuisine. It's more like what Taco Bell is to Mexican.

To each his or her own, I guess.

I'm just glad I live in a region where genuine ethnic foods are readily available.
