My opinion? I'd severely hate that trade. I hope that it's just a rumor DD putout there to throw off other teams. 'cause that trade would suck.

Not sure I would deal E-Rod for Schwarber, I'm learning towards no. I would rather have E-Rod and someone like Duda or Morrison than just Schwarber, but that's just my opinion.. and Ideally I don't want Duda or Morrison.

 

We can ill afford to trade away any of our starting pitching. That was the case before, and now even more so with Wright's domestic assault arrest and uncertain future. Unless Mike Trout is coming our way in such a trade.

 

IMO, pitching should be more the focus than the 'big bat', but that's just me.

I'm not sure ERod will ever be the pitcher we need him to be. He's a 3-4 with a substantial injury risk. I'd be happy with that deal.

I'm not sure we can believe pitching is our number one priority, even if someone inside the system leaked it out..

 

It could just mean that's what DD is looking at right now as he waits for the JD market and competition to come into focus.
