Who didn't see that one coming? Even when he swings at the first pitch (about once a month), he's not really committed to it.

 

Just look at the Astros' hitters. They are looking to hammer the first pitch that comes in their wheelhouse. They don't stand there and look at it. Make a perfect pitch and they wait for a better one, and once they get to 2 strikes, they foul tough pitches off.
