What if the other team hacks our helmets and starts giving wrong instructions? Or playing Death Metal?

Seems like Death Metal could lead to guys swinging harder, running faster.

I don't. If you want to, blame it on Farrell because he wants his baserunners aggressive and I think that includes his 3d base coach. What happened to JBJ, however, was simple inattention or misjudgment.
Being aggressive on the bases is one thing, but what we have witnessed this season is collective stupidity on the bases and the manager and coaches share the blame. This type of foolish base running is not uncommon of Farrell teams going back to his days in Toronto. He

Sale and Kimbrel put on a show tonight.

And I am glad to see Kimbrel nail down that save after I griped about him.

I nominate a700 for 1st and 3rd base coach (he should be able to handle both). Then after the first boneheaded base running mistake, we can get all over him about not doing his job.
I'll take the jobs and invite the criticism. I'd certainly make some wrong decisions, and they would be obvious as I would not be standing there with my hands in my pocket and not screaming.

Home runs can suck a bag of D's.

CC already taken out after 57 pitches. MFY don't let their starters totally s*** the beds and lay in it like Farrell.

Good. Let that f*** girardi burn his pen.

DO isn't good enough to carry stiffs like Boggs.

Honestly I liked Boggs 10000 times more than Gomes.

And I don't like Boggs.

I have to be honest and say that right now I'm not as comfortable with Kimbrel getting the save as I once was. Lately he still gets the K's, but he is also hittable.
I am not seeing that at all. Maybe we should nominate you to close out games, and we can get all over you before you throw a pitch. ;)

That knee is probably still bothering him. He just sat out a week and probably wasn't taking a whole lot of BP. But his job tonight was to catch Sale, and that he did to near perfection.

A+ post

It's a funny game. A guy can go from being a goat to a hero in one AB!

But.. when I played and coached it was automatic that the runners held up fingers to indicate that they knew how many outs there are. What happened to that?

The players started making 1000x what the coaches make. Nobody really knows how to bunt anymore either.

mitch moreland is so goddamn weird. I know this dude is sitting in his locker room after games playing with a fidget spinner and spinning it on his wiener.

Ahaha ha. I missed sc's homo erotic posts.

Wait...that's wrong

It happens very quickly. There's only so much info you can relay before action happens.

Lol agreed with this.

I'm more comfortable wth Kimbrell than anyone. Who would anyone rather have? Has anyone seen Osuna lately. 4 blown saves since the break and one wasn't the Jays up 6-3

Sale alone is carrying the team to 1st. What a stud of a pitcher.

DD's signature. Still can't believe some were opposed to the trade.

I'd rather have Jansen, but that's more like a 1A/1B choice.

Who? I don't know anyone that was opposed to the sale deal.

It upset the "Cliff People" very much. They love Sale but thought we gave up too much-- playing both sides of the fence. Edited by a700hitter

I think some said that we gave a lot for him. I think it was a fair trade --and probably we won it. IMO this year, Sale is the best pitcher in the majors.
