While there have been sightings of each of us by other TalkSox Members, there is no proof of our existence posted on TalkSox. We are like Big Foot, Yetti, the lochness monster and Giant Squid. LOL!

You must mean WAR, but, me, I think percentage of quality starts is a better indicator, and to date Pom is 9 for 19. Everyone else, including Porcello, has a higher percentage.

Watching Pomeranz is like watching those old movies about the perils of pauline. He gets himself into and out of all kinds of trouble--just about every inning. He is at his best when JBJ makes a grab in deep centerfield with the bases loaded and 2 outs.

I like Pedroia in the 3 hole so far.

 

I like Pedroia's comment earlier in the year when they put him in the 6 hole, something to the effect of, 'it doesn't matter, I'll mash there too'.

It's hardly a sign of character to suffer humiliation and make both you and your employer miserable by "doing the right thing" and going to the minors where nobody wants you. I'm glad SF signed him, and I hope he makes it back to the Bigs.
