I'm willing to bet HanRam still has some issue with that wrist. It may not even be that noticeable to him, but it doesn't take much, and there may not be much he can do about it until it rests in the off season.

 

I'm willing to give Young a little time; he's only been back a couple days (maybe 10 with the rehab assignment).

 

They really need Bogaerts to get out of his funk. Bradley would help, but let's face it, he's either been torrid or icy cold his entire career; it may just be who he is. Bogaerts is the key.

Getting help tonight thus far. Jays and orioles losing. Big series against kansas city at home. Don't f*** around and get back to winning series.

Toronto and Baltimore both lost, so we've got that going for us, which is nice.

We have won 10 of our last 14, and three of those 4 losses were by 1 run.

 

Yeah, we lost two to the lowly Rays.

 

Yeah, we have only scored 7 runs in our last 3 games (all on the road).

 

Now, we go home for six games before a west coast trip followed by 3 at Toronto. We'll know a lot more after these next 15 games. At least we have two days off (Sept 1st & Sept 8th).

 

Once we get to September 12th, we have 10 home and 10 away games:

7 vs NYY

7 vs BAL

3 vs TBR

3 vs TOR

We really could have used another win against the Rays, because the Royals have won 9 of their last 10, and we play them tomorrow. Guess nothing will come easy this season. This is the closest that the three way race in the AL East has been all year. Time for the most exciting part of the season.
