Shields surprisingly collapsed somehow after a good April and May. No one saw that coming. Saying the opposite is BS.

Funny, Didn't you want him in the offseason?

I did. I was wrong. But at least I wasn't hyping him up like he was on the highway to the HOF.

Don't make this about me. You're the one who said "He's an ace!"

Come on iortiz. Just admit you were wrong. It's not that hard.

We should have won against Sale and Quintana and somehow we lost. Now we are going to face Shields who is struggling badly... I don't know what to think about this.

My only guess is that we are going to see at least 4 HR.

Hahaha nahhh I said that he pitched like an ace in some games this year. I said that he could be a nice No. 2-3 moving foeward. Go figure.

Everyone here wanted him... So yeah we were all wrong. Don't make this about me.

On the other hand I still want to see him pitch more in order to make a call.

Totally about you. We all wanted him as innings-eater rotation filler. (Hell, he can probably still be that, as he's just going through a rough stretch probably). But he's clearly not an ace or number two.

Again, I said that he could be a nice No. 2-3 before his collapsing season which began against SEA since well, he was pitching even like a No. 1. Also his recent years made us think that still he could be a top of the rotation guy. You can keep digging about this all you want, but your hatred (against me) won't let you see the facts, admit it.

I'm just f***ing with you an. Shields will be fine. He's not this bad. But we dodged a bullet not trading for him (for now).

No problem. At this point I don't know what to think about Shileds but as I said I need to see him pitch more. I won't be surprised if he is injured or something, his recent starts are way out of his standards.

If Shileds is going to regain his shape again, it doesn't have to be today.

BTW 2-0 already? Wow!

As I said in post #3 of this thread, you just know it will be. And next time out he will be rocked.
