5 Home runs in two games ties a record. Yaz did it in 1976. Wow!! He will have a few ABs to break the record.
It took the statisticians a long time to determine that no one has ever hit 3 home runs in back to back games. LOL!! They should have been on Talk Sox and read this post ^ Edited by a700hitter

Didn't you prefer Kelly/Buchh over Shields? LOL!

Kelly is going to put Buch right back in the rotation. Bastards.

I'd rather Henry Houdini Owens.

Stat boys just got the memo to the booth that Yaz hit 5 HRs in two games in 1976. LOL!!! Here's some trivia for the statboys. The second game was against the Yankees and it was the night of the big brawl between Fisk and Piniella when that prick Nettles sucker punched Lee and separated his shoulder. Yaz hurt his knee in that scrum, but managed to hit his 5 th home run in 2 games. My recollection is that he had 5 RBI in that game. But I will wait for Elias to confirm on the broadcast.

Please find where exactly I said that. If you don't (and you won't), please stop making stuff up.

Henry Owens has been doing okay in the minors. He might be able to make it out of the 4th inning for us.

Might is the operative word, since he only lasted 12.1 innings in his 3 major league starts. We have no depth.

You did. Don't be shy, accept it.

I'd rather have a guy here who might turn things around instead of a guy who won't turn things around.

Find it. If I did, I'll aceept it, if I didn't (and considering how much I goddamn whined about Kelly and Buchholz not lasting the season), accept you make stuff up (which you do). In fact, IIRC, I spent a long part of the offseason beating the Panda for Shields drum.
