Imagine if they had a half decent rotation.

Seriously. This team has literally 2 guys In the rotation I have confidence in.. Price and E-Rod, and one is obviously injured. Who the hell knows what will happen when anyone else is on the mound

Although this hasn't been a great outing for Porcello it also hadn't been as disastrous as I thought it would be after the first couple innings. I thought this was going to get out of control fast.... He has somewhat settled down a bit as the game progressed. With saying that though I do agree our rotation outside of Price is wildly inconsistent

This team is just wicked fun to watch right now. I see what Ted sees.

 

Lousy starting pitching be damned. This offense is putting up numbers. And today without Papi and with a slumping Mookie. Just wow.

 

As for Mookie, I was so relieved to see him single after starting the day 0-3. I don't want him to lose his confidence and I certainly don't want him to change his approach.

 

Glad to see Porcello settle down. Not a great start, but he kept his team in the game.

I agree that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but 4 runs in 6 innings is still pretty s*****, that's a 6 ERA. I have no confidence in Porcello whatsoever

People seem to forget Jays have some fantastic hitters. I knew this series would be tough for our rotation

Make that 0-4. 3Ks. One ball in play. One walk. That's ... let's see (3 x 3) + 4 + 1 ... pitches that count, plus 1 E plus an assist or two ... times one million ... gotta be about 19million, no?

Virtually every position player except Sandoval had a good day. Once again he showed that he isn't ready to field his position at the major league level
