I don't know what the sox are trying to do with him. By putting him out again today, that must mean they are still hoping to make him a starter next year. I thought it would be pretty clear to them now that he shouldn't be a starter for the rest of this year or next year.

I missed this game. I was volunteering at the Cal Ripken U9 New England Regional Tournament, which is being played in my hometown. Anyway, those of you who thought I was crazy last night when I said that we still have a shot... Well, this game was a good sign. Lots of lower quality players stepped up and produced. Good offense to bail out the pitching of our man Kelly. Isn't this what we've been hoping for all year?
