Hell yea......

We are locked and loaded with Buch, E-Rod and Miley.......

We HAVE to take it to them.

It shall be!

Sandoval has been pedestrian at best.......

I can't crap on him though, I have a friend from Guatemala that looks exactly like him.

Yup. Problem with him is that his ability to make contact with balls anywhere near the strikezone is so good that he gets outs on some balls that he shouldn't have even swing at.

Plate discipline is not in Sandoval's vocabulary both on the field and at the dinner table....

For where this team is at... I really like Oritz on 1st and Ramirez at DH.

If we were to play a playoff game tomorrow, that would be the lineup I would use.

When Pedey comes back.

Brock left, De Aza or Victorino right. Hannigan catching......

I don't mind that. I do hope they roll the dice without Pedroia against the Yankees and give him a real nice extended break going into the second half of the season.

Before tonight, the Sox were the only team to not have a 4 game winning streak. They are truly playoff caliber now.

Well then, so are the Phillies.

I think they already said he wouldn't play the next series. Everyone's on the same page, let him get healthy.

Pedey needs props this year. He was the ONLY one going bazooka at the plate while almost everyone else was fizzle...........

So we just need to get into the playoffs. Then everyone will start loving him.

Not me.

The guy blows and is grossly overpaid.

Say we get into the playoffs, and play the Astros or Twins. If he caused George Springer or Torii (again) to leap over the wall, and give us a big win. Are you saying that you still wouldn't like him?

This year there is a much greater chance of Stephen Drew doing that.

So no.

Hardly. I too am glad the Sox have been winning.

I just call them as I see them. Sandoval was an expensive mistake.

He makes about 20 a year for 4 years correct?

Yea, he needs to step it up for sure....

It's the sox's fault. He has been trending down since 2012 and has been pretty pedestrian since 2013. We just gotta hope he maybe has a couple decent regular seasons and is impactful in the playoffs.

How's this....... f*** Sandoval..... we probably overpaid..... our FO is epically stupid sometimes..... but he will be average at third..

We only have four pitchers in the rotation........ and one of them is Porcello....

I just wonder what the Sox saw in Sandoval that made them think that he was the "Get". He has had two very good years at the plate and none in the past 5-6 years.

He does not hit for power either. Look at his EBH over his career. I always thought that corner infielders were supposed to hit for some power.

His defense is only below average to average. His lateral range is almost nonexistent. He makes too many errant throws.

Just not a good buy.

He's a slap hitter in a power hitters body.

Three years of Middlebrooks is what they saw....

Thunder has to pull out the first 4 game win streak with Porcello pitching? Ha, good luck!

And he did. You go Thunder!

Keep that mojo going into the ASB!

A sweep of the Yankees would be awesome!

The Porcello - Hannigan experiment seems to be going well at least so far.

It's only been one game, but all in all, Porcello pitched well last night, and he has pitched well with Hanigan.

Maybe, hopefully, Hanigan is the magic cure for Porcello's troubles.

Lol, in typical Porcello fashion, gives up runs immediately after the Red Sox spot him a nice lead.

This has been so maddening. At least last night, he did not give up the lead. That last out in the 4th seems to have really fired him up. He came back with a vengeance in both the 5th and 6th innings.
