I see that this site was almost entirely peaceful until "the juggernaut" returned from hiatus. That's just a fact. Now, we are having this crap on a weekly basis, and there is one common participant to all of the skirmishes.

You would be right in calling me biased in favor of iortis. That would not be stupid, nor is it stupid or unfair for me to observe that you favor UN.

 

I don't see UN's cheap shots unless someone quotes them. MVP has been directing less cheap shots my way for some time now --that has not been a problem for me lately. So, I don't know what salt I am rubbing into what wounds. Finally, I am not going to take cheap shots from anyone... ever without responding. I was not a participant in this skidmish. It was childish, and it needs to be stopped. That is the extent of my involvement.

Hello you bitter children who hate adults. I had a ton of fun enjoying the Super Bowl at the Borgata casino. Such an exciting game. The patriots were already my second favorite team for losing two Super Bowls to my Giants. Well, that last second interception put the Patriots close to being neck and neck with my Giants as my favorite, because 8 for the Pats and 4 for Seattle gave me the winning box in a $100 box pool. Sweet. You may say that I am part of FOM if it makes your miserable lives feel worthwhile. I am going to collect my winnings tomorrow and put them away for my upcoming Spring Training trip -- my 13 consecutive Spring Training. I am smiling from ear to ear. But yet as happy as I am and as much as I love my Red Sox, my observation is that our rotation is very mediocre at best. It is thin, without depth and not at all flexible. Maybe it is " projectible" whatever that means. Sounds like a fancy word that means nothing in this context.

 

I liked this post by you 700. It was a happy one and obviously you're elated by the turn of events yesterday. It is also a very vanilla post and I'll keep my eyes open to see if it brings forth comments on the negative side. If it does then I'm convinced that nothing on this board is safe from attack. And may I have the temerity to make a simple suggestion? How about we try tomorrow for one day at least of no nasty exchanges between the posters on this board. Kimmi and I went through this crap back in 2011 and it led to a split in the Sawxheads Board, and, truth be told, though the Jacobins and Pollyannas or the FOM and San Fans United if you prefer that, went their own way there was some bitterness for awhile. Please, let's not let that happen here. Kimmi's message was a wake-up call, so can we just talk Red Sox baseball and let this crap wind down? Can we do that? Yes, 700 Hitter and iortiz are two of my best buddies on this board but I don't want that to cause me to get any enemies either. We can all come together. I want this board to prosper because it is a great one and I enjoy being on it.
