Last night I discovered that MLB.com has the feed of Joe and Dave. Every other radio is taken over by ESPN.

I would really like to hear a reasonable explanation as to why pitchers still f***ing hit in the national league... seriously... it's f***ing ridiculous.

 

Initially there was so much animosity between owners from the two leagues that it was just crazy. They really did think they were competing with each other for fans and frankly in some cities that is true. When the AL went to the DH, the NL marketing machine make a huge big deal out of it. NL teams had more of a speed game to begin with and the NL just played the DH off as another bit of evidence that the AL was where NL players went to retire.

 

Now that is not as much animosity between the owners from the respective leagues. However now we have fans from the NL cities spewing their s*** about how much better the NL game is ...blah blah blah....it is probably more of a mess now that it was when it was just the owners.
