My friends who are Marlins fans hate the DH. They think it's a good idea to have a pitcher hit because they are "athletes" and should be playing on both sides. It's not a bad argument, but how the f*** do you prefer watching a pitcher hit over a DH?

I can understand someone enjoying the strategy behind it.

 

The rule isn't changing anytime soon unless Selig's in the mood to piss off his fanbases in St. Louis, Chicago, LA, SF, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, etc., and I assume he isn't.
