If you have one dominant starter, I think he should start 3 games in a 7 game series. Lester is big horse of a man. Peavy is a choker and Buch is injured. I'd have rolled the dice with Lester tonight.

 

That's what I was thinking. I don't think there is a thing as being short sighted when you are down 2-1 in a best of 7. You roll out Lester and he wins tonight, even if you loose game 5 you still have Lackey on full rest in game 6 and Lester back on short rest on game 7. At this point I would bet my marbles that Lester on short rest > than Peavy on regular rest. Of course Lester on short rest is unkown, but he is a beast and a horse. I think he would do okay.
