10/19 ALCS Game 6 vs Tigers

Guys, it's been a hell of a year. We've all been through so much with this team over the last 3 years.

 

We've watched them blow a 9 game wildcard lead and miss the playoffs. We've sat through 162 games of Bobby Valentine managing this team and all of the turmoil that came with it. And this year, we've watched as the team we all love so much has marched its way to the World Series.

 

I know most of us haven't ever met outside of this board. I know most of us probably never will. But, despite that, we're all family here and I can't think of anybody I'd rather share this moment with than all of you guys.

 

Now let's win it all and bring on the duck boats!

Something special about this team! Koji was the MVP, but if you take him out of the mix you are hard press to come up with another MVP. That is because they win as a team. If you look at some of the batting averages for the series you wonder how they did it. Go Sox!!!!!!!

I know of someone who jumped up and slapped an EXIT sign above a doorway. It was metal with cutout letters, and his ring got caught on the point of the X and his finger got ripped off.
