Agreed. Dempster looked good last time out, but had no run support.

Dempster's looked good the last four times out. With the exception of that three game stretch in which he was dealing with a groin issue, he's been our second best starter.

!@#$ the Orioles and Yankees Why won't they just lose some god damn games

Orioles are nasty. That guy, Chris Davis, has 26 god damn homeruns including two today vs Tigers. WTF x_x

I wish Will Middlebrooks would get it the f*** together. He needs to pull his weight.

Run support for Dempster I hope!

Definitely watching the Bruins though.

Let's sweep these f***ers.

Station----We haven't been too proficient in sweeping series the past few years until we did it a couple of times this season. Then again, we never seemed to win DH for years, only split or lose them......until yesterday. Now we have a team that has learned how to do the hat trick and win twin bills. That's good my friend because with the Orioles beating the hell out of the Tigers today and the Yankees beating the pathetic Dodgers in the first game and most likely beating them in the second, we need to take today's finale to stay on course.

Yesterday was a great day for us. Gee, I hope we have a lot more of them from here on in. Let's not lose any ground tonight. We need to keep winning.

I agree. Yesterday's DH and really the whole season have brought some very good signs. Things we haven't done for years have boosted the confidence and morale of Red Sox Nation. Especially with the Yankees playing two, we need to keep winning. I couldn't have worded your post any better.

Jerry Remy to return on Tuesday

Posted by Peter Abraham, Globe Staff June 19, 2013 04:37 PM

A few pregame Red Sox notes:

NESN's Jerry Remy says he will be back on Tuesday.

• Mike Carp is available as a pinch hitter.

• John Farrell said Jarrod Saltalamacchia feels fine after catching 18 innings Tuesday. He'll get Thursday off against Detroit lefty Jose Alvarez.

• David Ross is going to Pittsburgh Thursday to get checked out by concussion specialist Dr. Michael Collins at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

• Will Middlebrooks will pay third base Thursday and Friday. Jose Iglesias will play shortstop Thursday against the lefty.

• Farrell again pledged his fealty to Andrew Bailey as the closer but said several times that work needs to be done on both his fastball and location of his breaking ball. Farrell said he has given no consideration to using anybody else as the closer.

• Shane Victorino "is a little beat up" and is getting a day off.

The Sox will never hit Hellickson because he pitches backwards, this team is insanely susceptible to a good change up
Should we turn off our TVs?;)

Well I am just shocked that a lineup that goes Napoli - Salty can't get a run in from 2nd with nobody out. Shocked!

That's such a pathetic order, and Farrell will never learn

It's all good....:)

Gomes 2 for 2 and Salty with the double. He probably could have scored on that wild pitch.

I also find that the Amica Zone is a bit lower than I would expect. A lot of pitches that look low to me are at the bottom of the Amica Zone.
