So that's justification for making all of these retarded statements? Think before you post.

Everything I stated was based on facts.

So it's a fact that Rodriguez wasn't juicing during his 2007 season with the Yankees, or any point during which he claimed he wasn't juicing? Do you know what a fact is? I don't think you do.

I heard a report this morning that that any PED suspensions that are handed down are probably going to be served next season.

Which means that A-Rod might play this year? Wouldn't that be crazy.

I think he will play this season, and probably soon. I am just guessing that they can only rehab him for another week before they have to bring him up.

Sounds like MLB may be planning on suspending A-Rod longer than Braun.

The league is reportedly looking to punish A-Rod not only for his PED transgressions, but also for allegedly interfering with their investigation into Biogenesis. In the end, MLB could hand A-Rod as long a suspension as they want because they're not bound by the JDA's regular three-strike punishment system in this case, but without his concession they run the risk of a drawn out appeals process.

Players Association director Michael Weiner said last week that their guidance for players like A-Rod -- i.e. those who have overwhelming evidence against them -- would be not to appeal their punishments, but that doesn't necessarily mean he won't.

Rodriguez, 37, is currently on the disabled list with a strained quad. The veteran was supposed to come off the DL on Monday following his 20-day rehab assignment, but an MRI taken over the weekend revealed the muscle pull. After five days' from the recurrence, he can begin a new 20-day rehab assignment.

According to CBS Evening News’ Jim Axelrod, Alex Rodriguez could be facing a lifetime ban from MLB.

Ryan Braun was given a 65-game suspension on Monday for his involvement in the Biogenesis PED clinic and reports from ESPN have stated that the evidence against A-Rod is "far beyond" what Major League Baseball investigators had on the Brewers star. Rodriguez is presumably going to attempt to work out a deal with the commissioner's office, but if MLB has enough evidence it could look to push the 37-year-old third baseman out for good. There's much more to come.

This is going to be fascinating to watch play out. Between the threats of a lifetime ban, accusations of A-Rod attempting to interfere with the investigation and the insurance angle the Yankees are pushing, this is going to be downright Machiavellian.

Now you're asking too much.

Bartolo Colon revolutionized a new kind of cheating. You very well could call it Bartolo-Colon Surgery... although surprisingly no one else has done it yet. If the MLB could have given a lifetime ban to the first person who used roids, don't you think they would do so?

Just saw (but didn't read) the article alluding to the possibility of a lifetime ban. Please, don't f*** with me, getting my hopes up like that.

No no no no no no. That would get the Yankees out from under his horrific contract. Just no.

We can't worry about it User. You know the Yanks are going to get some financial relief on this somehow.

I care about the game, but I have said before that I don't really give a s*** about the whole steroid issue. I still believe that a large amount of the players have taken substances that give them an illegal advantage, so it's more if you aren't cheating you aren't trying. In the end, I wish they all could be clean, but I am a realist. But if we can get a complete and total cheater out of the game and an absolute bear of a contract off our books, then I'm all for it.

I wasn't insinuating that anyone else didn't care about the game. I also think a large portion of players are using drugs, I would prefer that they weren't though. And I think that the players who are caught should be punished to the fullest extent of the rules.

I know you weren't insinuating. I think your thoughts on the matter are a lot purer than mine, lol. I am ecstatic that MLB wants to do this, mostly because its f***ing ChokeRod and he has a bear of a contract that is weighing us down

Back when the team had backbone, he looked to be a major improvement at 3b. Now that this team has faded to nothing, I would rather we finish lower. Even a shell of ARod can hit better than our 3bs. We have the worst production from 3b in the entire league, and it isn't close. Our 3b's have a .572OPS

Ah, yes. If the Yankees only had backbone.

But I thought the Red Sox were the team playing over their heads.

They're still playing well, although I doubt they win this division. That being said, only the homerest homers of homers could have predicted Lackey's return to dominance.
