I don't think there has ever been a Platinum Sombrero in a 9 inning game. I believe all of them have come in games that went into extras.

Been a weird game within what has turned out to be a sort of Twilight Zone kind of series with these Guardians.

 

Gotta' love what Pedey has done so far in this series though. He has been incredible both in the field and at the plate. Been a monster.

While Dempster has had a bad couple of starts recently, Doubront has had a couple of decent starts recently, so hopefully that continues so we can end the series on a high note.

More than half the hits from the bottom two hitters in the lineup--bench guys.

They should be killing Cleveland pitching in Fenway. Just not hitting right now.

 

But a win is a win is a win. And Cleveland is playing good ball right now.

 

One sportswriter pointed out that with Iggy and Drew in the lineup, it made more sense for Iggy to play SS than 3b. They solved that problem today.

It was called savedbythebellhorn.com I think. A bunch of them flooded this site for a while a few years ago. It got out of hand.

 

Although it wasn't as out of hand as when the site was invaded by Brits when John Henry bought Liverpool.

Well, I wasn't trying to be funny with the Ellsbury Kayem thing. It just happened. When I try to be funny, I'm not funny. Not saying it should be sigged, just pointing it out.
