Is a career back up C for a reason. Don't get too wound up over him. His D is important, offense is a plus.

His defense is very important BSN but Ross is going to have to hit a little unless we can have a good half-dozen players banging away at the same time. When the team doesn't hit a hole or two in the lineup looks like a cave-in. That's why I wished Lavarnway would not have s*** the bed in ST. If he could have shown he could hit well enough to play regularly we would have gotten a catcher who could do both. As it is we have a good defensive man in Ross and supposedly a hitter in Salty, though he hasn't shown too much yet, has he?

Hey guys, I was just surprised with tickets to the Sunday game against the Rays. Would have been Patriots Day, but I'm not driving through the traffic.

Seats are behind Rays dugout, but I'll make due.

I knoow....but what other viable options do i have for such a strong case of heartburn?

Eat less crap, i.e. processed foods (pre-made aka Trader Joe's, stuff that comes in plastic), gluten, sugar, and excess salt.

I was watching the box score at work today. Crazy to see this team get dominated by Chen early on, but glad to see Nava do some damage to him today.

In other news, anyone see what's up with the Orioles rotation the next few days? They miss Hammel and Gonzalez, and get to hit against two guys throwing batting practice.

You said Happ would be batting practice too. :o

Hey i'm on a strict lifting diet. I eat nothing processed, and i only eat carbs on lifting days. Hanrahan is the sole reason for my heartburn.

<_>

Kidding, man...merely implying that baseball is unpredictable, especially in the short run. Such as, we were supposed to murder lefties and so far we've hardly scored against them.

Oh, I knew you were kidding, more me grimacing at making a bad prediction.

That being said, I also said that the Happ v Lackey matchup would probably end up being a reverse lock and a complete pitcher's duel.

I hate tomorrow there is an off day in the middle of the series, its stupid.

They have to in case of a rain out, so the people who purchased opening day tickets get to go to opening day. It sucks but if you had tickets you'd think otherwise.

If you have an overwhelming fear about missing game 1, buy tickets for game 2 as well.

I care about watching the Sox more than I do about upset ticket holders.

Never going to change.

So I finally did it. Bought tickets 3 rows from the field behind the Red Sox on deck circle for Fridays game against the Rays... Weather forecast 45 and 2 inches of rain. Great.

I'm in the same place on Sunday, but behind the Rays dugout.

I've got pavillion box seats tomorrow night. Really hoping the rain stays away.

But my gem this year is monster seat tickets for the Patriots Day game. Got lucky and was drawn for the game. Can't freaking wait. Supposed to be around 65 on Monday.

Take the T or something. There are going to be mobs. Plenty of closed roads. I'm sure you know what it's like.

Tell this to Red Sox Management, not us.

Fast foward to July so I can watch a game already! You guys are lucky you live in Massachusetts or close to it.

They sure are!!

I want to move back to Boston ASAP.

Except SoCal weather is growing on me, the lack of seasons and all I mean. Last week it was 88 at the BEACH and I got a significant amount of sun. It's supposed to be high 70s all week and 80s on the weekend. My family in Boston is jealous.

Enjoy Pasadena in the summer when it gets 110. Move somewhere a little more mild like Hermosa.

Oh yeah, Ive already been through the summer here. Crazy!

I like the heat though. it's usually pretty dry.

I feel like my heart belongs in Boston, yet I've never been there lol.

It's been in the 70's in CT this week. The rain coming on Thursday will cool things down a little though.

The only time I've ever sweat through my shirt was at an outdoor wedding in Pasadena in early September. Brutal...

It's like San Francisco east but without the hills and cable cars.

Worse weather. Better Italian food. Worse Mexican. Less hippies. More college students.

Both are wonderful smaller walking cities.
