Nova has been suspect since he experienced that forearm tightness last year. That always seems to be an elbow issue.

They need to fix it now. Go to Andrews, have the surgery and stop dicking around. You can have him back full force by the ASB and actually use him at his maximum without seeing this parade of garbage he's been putting out there. Phelps right now is better than an injured Nova, so pull the trigger and salvage something from 2014.

BTW, up to this point, Cervelli has a .877OPS and Martin has a .699 one. Saving that $17 mil looks smart. Cervelli has also looked f***ing money behind the plate. Up comes Romine, who has been on fire thus far in AAA and offers phenomenal defense. I have a feeling this injury to Cervelli just started the clock ticking on Chris Stewart's end of his career in NY

Dickey is throwing the KB almost exclusively because of his neck and back. The announcers said he was learning to pitch the KB at different speeds, so he's basically trying to learn to be Wakefield and he's supposed to be a horse on this team? hahaha

btw Youk out again with his back.

This Yankee team built with Band-Aids, duct tape, and glue has shown how to win through one month. The pitching is been very solid, and the bullpen has been nearly untouchable. Once the stars actually return, this team will be something to watch.

I hope A-Rod comes back. His presence alone should curse the team.

Assuming luck/karma doesn't revert around. I mean if you're doing well with mediocre players and great luck, maybe things will switch if you have good players and bad luck. One can hope anyways. :)

It might be nice to get Arod and Jeter's bats back but the left side of the the IF is going to be terrible defensively.

Karma finally doing its job?

At least for tonight. Astros up 8-0 in the 5th. Rocked Andy. Nice.

NYY will probably hit 9 HR and win.

f*** them.

I'd wait to the end of the game for that. They should have lost a few to Toronto and then some random carcass from 2006 would hit a home run at the end to give them the lead.

LOL exactly.

Hafner and Wells have been revelations.

Yeah, well I hate them both and what I say goes! ;)

But seriously.....:thumbdown

....and the Yankees do it again. They break the tie to take the lead in another close game it looks like they're going to win. If they won only half of these type of games where some carcass from 2006 had a big hit, they'd be near the bottom of the division at this point.

The Yankees are the unluckiest...and the luckiest team in the majors at the same time.
