YAY! the Sox are in first place and have played consistently good baseball since last summer! They have done great in the playoffs for the last few years and would never take advantage of the DL. I am soooo excited with the way these guys have played since last summer that I just farted out some cotton candy and lollipops are sprouting on my front lawn! Enjoy your wheelbarrows full of money Red Sox players! After a hard fought September, you guys have really kept the pedal to the metal.

Agons has creamed this guy this season. I would not pitch Agons this way. Although he has likely paid for pitching Agons the way most LH pitchers have pitched to him. You cannot start AGons trying to pound him inside from the start of each AB. That is not going to work.

 

He must not be able to find the outer third of the plate with any consistency although tonight he has not found the plate, never mind the outer third of it.

Although the box score will only show him with 2 rbi, his slide into 2nd resulted in 2 other runs scoring. Since he has been called up he has been the straw that has stirred the drink.

Talkin' about Adam Jones new deal with the O's on NESN. Not real happy with the way the veteran players put it to the guys in the minor leagues in this contract though.

 

Those guys are makin' nothin' at his point. Going to be hard to convince a kid not to go grab a college scholarship at this rate...maybe get addicted to football or some other team sport and never come back to baseball.
