Although the box score will only show him with 2 rbi' date=' his slide into 2nd resulted in 2 other runs scoring. Since he has been called up he has been the straw that has stirred the drink.[/quote']

You should tell BV the genius that. I don't think he's gotten the memo.

The O's annoucers are ripping Buchholtz for the throws to 1st

In that case I take it back. Those guys are dumber than wood.

Palmer may be insufferable but he is right about that. Buchholtz does it because his nerves get the better of him and he loses focus

The question is, what do we do with Nava when Ellsbury, Crawford, and Ross come back. I would hate to rebury him at Pawtucket, but there really doesn't seem to be a spot for him.

Considering the number of times we have been screwed this season by being overly concerned with the base runners the O's announces would do well to shut up and hope for more of the same.

I was kidding. He should ignore single baserunners now. Just get the batter out.

Do the MLB cable packages always pick up the road team announcers? Is that how some of you guys end up with them as the announce team you are stuck with?

Depends upon when/if they are ready and if Nava is still playing like this.

Blackout rules because I live in Maryland. The MLB package gives both feeds except for balckout rules

That's the logical response. The emotional response is Nava plays and Crawford sits

My only fk'n choice when we play the O's is MASN. Jim Palmer is a tool.

DFA Gonzo. Too bad we'll lose again tonight. Game over.

Worse than Mark Gubicza or Hawk Harrelson?

If only Nava's platoon splits went the other way.

Frankly, right now, I'd platoon Nava (1.000 OPS v right) and Ross (.916 OPS v left)

Gary Thorne tries to moderate Palmer's pomposity. Palmer does know his stuff but he lets you know it and talks down to the viewer.

Actually a Ross-Nava platoon, with Ross picking up other at bats as a righthanded platoon option for our other lefty outfielders (especially Ellsbury and Crawford), makes sense in a lot of ways.

Nava does more than hit. He is Pedroia like but without his talent. He is an over achiever.

From page 1. Where is Jacko when you need him?

If Buch can get to and through the 7th tonight that is going to make 3 pretty good starts in a row. I guess we all have our standards for what we think these guys should be doing but if he puts three this good in a row, considering he is our 3, I would think him pretty solid even if he does not continue at exactly that pace.

Guys that are pretty good pitchers come out and sometimes just don't have it. The O's starter tonight could not find the plate to save his skin and he isn't exactly chop liver.
