Ah, didnt think about Salty on deck. Regardless, a throw that reaches the catcher in any capacity is an easy out. McDonald got a bad jump and would have been out by a long shot

Well, even if he caught that ball, the way he went down with the tag, it would have been a lot closer than most people (including myself) thought. The glove and DMacs hand got in there at around the same time.
