Easy to say, hard to do.
We as fans tend to get worked up with each other when the team is struggling.
Here's a way to put it in perspective: like it or not, the Sox players care very little what we think of them. They are paid to do a job. Do they want to win? Sure. But, they are PAID employees. They don't "choose" their team for free, like we do.
I really doubt Youkilis is going to call every poster on this board to say "sorry for hitting .001." He doesn't really give a rat's behind...sorry, to break it all of you.
Secondly, players are getting paid handsomely, quite handsomely to be exact. I would think they know that getting ripped by the media and the fans comes with the job.
