Josh Reddick was 4 for 4 and a walk tonight with 2 HRs' date=' 5 RBI and 4 Runs. Reddick has 8 HRs already-- more than anyone on the Red Sox. Sweeney has 0.[/quote']

I liked reddick, and thought he'd be in our RF for the forseeable future....

Bad umpiring struck again in the Rays-Jays game. Brett Lawrie got called out on strikes in the ninth, two of the pitches were clearly well outside the strike zone. Lawrie and John Farrell both got ejected, with justification. You can check out the strike calls on MLB.Gameday. Crazy bad calls.

Reddick blast another HR' date=' 10th. The guy has a sweet left handed swing. Amazing bat speed, taking a 97 fastball from Ogando to right center.[/quote']He always had a live bat. The ball jumps off his bat. If Sweeney plays with the Sox for 2 seasons, he will not hit 10 HRs total.

Very few people had anything good to say about Reddick when he was here. This is the best example of the grass being greener. People here were saying that nobody from the Sox system could make any significant contribution to the Sox this year. Well, if they had Reddicks 10 HR that would be a contribution. Middlebrooks has contributed. Doubront has been pretty good. I'd say the system is chugging along just fine.

I always liked Reddick and thought he was a decent player. I think Kalish will be better if healthy, and I suspect the Sox do too.

I always thought Reddick had the more lively bat than Kalish. I have posted about his lively bat for a couple of years. One Spring he just knocked the cover off the ball. Kalish may be the better all around player, but but Reddick has the livelier bat. The ball jumps off his bat. The concern with Reddick is consistency. I think the consistency will come in time.

That's a pretty accurate assessment IMO.

Kalish has historically been a better on-base player, a better fielder, and considerably faster. He also has decent pop. Reddick has a good arm, is pretty good in the field, and has plus power.

The O's are ahead of the Nationals 6-1 in the 5th inning tonight. When do we start taking them seriously?

They got a real offense and real bullpen. Starters are suspect.

The Angels are coming alive as of late. Seems to be the other threat for the 2nd wild card.

The AL East will clash and beat on other so much, while Texas and Angels gets to feast on the A's and M's 36 times.

lol, i was gonna write about Dickey. His knuckleball looks damn unhittable. If he keeps this up, he will be a contender for the Cy Young.I am curious to know the last knuckleballer to win the Cy Young.

Oswalt with a 6 2/3 inning effort for the Rangers against the Rockies tonight giving up 1 run while striking out 6 and walking 1.

What a jerk...I hope he gets lit up this year. I hate this Roger Clemens play where I want for half a season s***.
