That is not a home run.

Very, very, very close, but it hit the top of the wall and came back onto the field. Not gone.

Why is Aceves on the mound?, I really don't understand this guy....you can send Atchison, Morales or stuff like that when you are leading by 7, dammit Tito!

Stop complaining about Aceves. This is part of what we use the guy for.

if you're not going to pitch Bard, you're not going to pitch Papelbon, and Miller's part of your rotation, then your bullpen is pretty much Morales, Wheeler, Albers and Aceves. We used 3 of those and have Albers available if we need the 7th inning tomorrow. It's all good.

Completely different lineup with Ellsbury back and Gonzo swinging the bat well again (at least for the night). Can't wait to see a healthy Youk and Ortiz back in there as well. The s***** lineups the past week or so really make you appreciate what we have 1-5 when they're all healthy.

Totally agree. Ells coming back seemed to have boosted the rest of the bats

The Globe this morning says "Lackey pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed JUST four runs..."

That's an ERA of 5.39--for a guy making $15 million. That's not the kind of pitching standard that wins championships. Pretty outrageous of the Globe.

Just four runs in an away game against an elite offensive team, while pitching nearly seven innings.

You do realize he's only their #6th best hitter' date=' right? That'd be like the Red Sox losing Scutaro or Salty.[/quote']Yes, of course beltre is comparable to Scutaro or Salty.
