Gardner makes that moot though. The guy should never be moved out of the 9 hole. I dont know why, but the guy can hit down there and just cannot hit in the 2 hole.

BTW, grossest thing of all time said yesterday. Waldman was talking about wanting Swisher hitting second. "I love him in my 2 hole." I went deaf for a few minutes, had a seizure and pissed myself before coming to.

Nice picture.

Is that you?

ARod steps on the throat. Cano follows with another. Seriously, suns, can you tell your shitass team to not allow back to back homers. The last thing I want to hear is Sterling say "back to back, and a belly to belly."

Cervelli is one of the few guys on this team that I trust to make a productive out. He seems very good at just bearing down, making contact, and getting that run in.

Quite excited about the next few series. 3 home vs the formidable Orioles at home. Then we get 3 games at Toronto and their ridiculously strong pitching. Then we go to Baltimore for 3 to face their deadly rotation again. Then we get to face Houston at home for 3. We should take 9 or 10 of the next 12 games

I said it when he came up. Great on defense, solid, accurate arm, and he isnt an easy out at the dish. He has almost no power, has a good eye, is a pest and just plays the game well. He could start on more than a dozen big league clubs and he very well could end up as a starter for us as a bridge between Posada and Montero or Romine.

it would have been nice, but we need both Park and Joba to get back on track. We have the O's next, there should be some low pressure innings available for Chamberlain over the next few days

Yeah, but with Park pitching the 8th, I don't see why they can't then give Joba the 9th. So be it.

THAAAAAAAAAA YANKEES WIN! 3 out of 4. 5 of 7, we are hot again, just in time for the O's. Just looked at the whole schedule as well. Looks like a joke through August. September looks f***ing brutal

I've never seen a worse Yankees' team at getting runners in from third base with less than two outs. Thames is a horrendous situational hitter.

EDIT: I don't know the numbers, but this is as bad as it gets. They fail at this so often, it's unbelievable.

NOW THAT'S THE VAZQUEZ I THOUGHT WE WERE GETTING!!! 7IP, 4H 1ER 7K 1BB. And he sacks up in a jam and finishes it. 3 solid starts out of 4. ERA down to 6, and with the warmer weather comes some more heat (sitting 90-91 today). My bet is he continues this run for a little while
