Well' date=' this is why Joe had Marte up. Just an awful job by Robertson. His time up here is probably dwindling.[/quote']

I don't they should react hastily and give up on him, the kid has shown that he's good good stuff, and a lot of potential. If things don't turn around for him soon then a trip to Scranton might not hurt to boost his confidence.

Jeter, Tex, and ARod have a good game, Yankees win. Good to see them starting to come around. Pettitte was tightroping again, but did well to win and put down any fears of injury. Robertson is starting to concern me. He never was the pinpoint variety, but his location is something awful. I dont think he needs a demotion as a confidence booster, I think he needs to rework his mechanics and that is best done in the minors. What the Yankees need to do is demote Robertson, bring up Melancon and stop shuttling him between MLB and AAA. The kid is good, give him a frickin shot

Meat-tray serves up some meat' date=' 1-0 Twinkies[/quote']Turn off the game and tune back in around the 7th inning when Gardenhire starts to get involved and he works his magic. You will not be disappointed.

Gardenhire will remove his Twins jersey after tonight's 13 inning walk-off loss to reveal his Yankee pinstripes.

Kubel hit a grand slam off Mo? Great news!!

It's really Gardenhire time. Let him work his magic. Someone should tackle him in the dugout and promote the bat-boy to manage the last two innings.

Gardenhire is into his act. He mixing and matching and no doubt in the process of blowing another game to the Yankees.

Rauch for the 9th.

I am now bald. But we won, I think the neighbors could hear me when Kubel hit the jack. Awesome!

Well Marcus Thames was bound to drop a fly ball eventually. I'm surprised it took him that long. Funny thing is, people think of Swisher as a subpar outfielder, but you really miss him when someone like Thames is out there.

Additionally, I'm slowly becoming a bit worried about a couple things here.

I'm losing faith in the bullpen, as I'm not sure how they're going to bridge the gap to Mo. The bullpen has now blown leads in four of their last five games. I like having Joba in the bullpen, but this is why it was silly to say he's back to his 2007 form. We need to see much more consistency.

Then there's Jeter. A 2008 repeat seems realistic.
