He's due for a regression. His bb/9 is a full point under his minor league levels in his first big league season. That is rarely sustained without a correction or a bit of adversity.

That said, looks like a talented lefthanded pitcher who's more than worth a pickup at this stage in the draft. Where do the Jays keep getting them?

Understood but at this point, I'm quite satisfied with a Pelfrey/Romero combo holding down the #5 spot in my rotation, and the other will be in the pen as my long man.

Ankiel and Dukes will hurt me a little but I think I'm at least at the point where my lineup is not a problem for me.

Milledge is a guy I've liked for a while. He's rehabbing now but should be back soon' date=' and at only 24 I love his ceiling.[/quote']

It's not mystery, I don't care for Milledge. He has all the talent in the world, but he is dumber then a bag of hammers.

But this late in the draft the pick has excellent value and potential.

Went with Scutaro at SS until Beckham is ready. I've been drafting players who can play good defense and Scutaro can certainly do that. There were options at SS who are better with the bat but they can't compare to Scutaro in the field. I figure by the time Beckham is in the majors, Scutaro can be my utility infielder.

I was floating the idea of drafting Scutaro with one of my next two picks in my head. It's a solid choice.

It was either Scutaro or Lowrie for my utility IF and went with the guy with more upside

Scutaro was my second choice though.

I did my lineup, and it says the best order has Chipper leadoff and Abreu 3rd (6.05 R/G or so). The lineup I put in was about 5.95 R/G. I'll do DipreG's now for fun, since we've discussed his order a lot.

I used players' numbers over the past three years.

Link me afterwards.

I'm too lazy to do it myself right now.

Defense, baby.

Guitierrez is rated as the 4th highest defensive OF by UZR/150 this season and will be a fantastic defensive replacement.

Currently sporting a 102 OPS+, he'll be a fantastic addition to my bench.

I was gonna do the lineup thing but halfway through I realized I used wOBA instead of OBA, I'll post the results later this weekend.

To me, Neshek is low risk/high reward. His motion is violent and could lead to arm problems. He's having Tommy John surgery right now. But he was durable in the Minors, and I expect him to come back strong next year. He's like a lesser known Rafael Soriano.

Neshek should be banned from pitching against RHH, he owns them so bad it's not even funny.

Sorry I've been away for so long. Internet service wasn't hooked up at my new house until Friday, July 3. I'm currently doing work in the house, so I couldn't get away for any appreciable period of time to use a place with free WiFi.

To be honest, there's more work at the house than I anticipated. If somebody is interested in taking over my team, then they can have it. I'll be busy doing things in this house for the next 3-4 months. If nobody is interested, I'll try an keep up, but there will be lags in my participation.

Again, sorry.
