I selected Clint Barmes. Kendrick has s*** the bed for the most part so I needed some security there. Barmes looks like he's legit and has been really hitting well lately after a slow start. He has the ability to play 2B,SS and 3B, so if Kendrick finds his way off my bench Barmes could be a great utility guy. But for now he's my starting 2B.

Overbay isn't that great, but he's there in case Butler bombs. He's a competent defensive 1B with good offensive skills and average power, and bats lefthanded to balance Butler, who sucks against righthanded pitching. A bit of a meh pick, but he fills a need. Since both of them have distinct platoon splits, the THEORY is that between them I should have a good solution at 1B
