Nah man, on a serious note...those four games were bad, but hey that was then and this is now...the Red Sox have 86 years of chokes stored away on video tape, the Yankees had one weeks worth pretty much...and frankly, your team is absolutely terrible. Really, really bad. Your organization sucks, your New England culture sucks, I hate Boston with every bone in my body because you're all pussy whiners who have an inferiority complex with New Yorkers; and it gets tiring to see all those losers with backwards visors in the bleachers at Fenway bang each other with Manny's dreadlocks on Sportscenter every so often.

All past arguments aside, you guys got a good ol South Bronx ass whooping this weekend in your backyard and your team is desperately flawed- now and in the near future.

Cheers to the second place Red Sox, time and time again.

Thank you all for another timeless summer collapse.

Not only are your points so stupid that they aren't even worth arguing with, if someone bothered to, any drop of logic would be blocked by your sincere hate of RSN. :dunno:

Sounds like someone needs a nap.

Nah not at all, I regular Yankee Boards...as you can tell by my post count I only drop in here every so often so I'm not particularly worried about being banned...just trying to find a temporary common ground and be a decent human being. :dunno:

I see that your posts and tone have changed, and you're right...you've posted very little over a year plus. Still...the change was drastic. That's what drew the comment out of me.

Nah man, on a serious note...those four games were bad, but hey that was then and this is now and I don't know any Yankees fans who give a s*** about 2004 anymore, its good it happened- it made us all tougher and hate you that much more...the Red Sox have 86 years of chokes stored away on video tape, the Yankees had one weeks worth pretty much...I have a good website that chronicles decade after decade of Red Sox humiliation I can send you (its astonishing!) all while the Yankees have won 39 pennants and 26 world titles. yes you may have won more recently, but that will change soon enough...and frankly, your team is absolutely terrible.

Thank you all for another timeless summer collapse. The whole country is laughing at you.

Blah, blah, blah...

Pathetic... yet entirely expected from certain quarters.

You don't go to someone else's house and crap on their sofa, nor do you make a point to tell them just how horrendously bad their food is. There are better ways to make fun of Red Sox fans, and you can do all of that on a general baseball site like MLB.com or ESPN.com.

Well I bet they get the point, if you're crapping on their sofa, something wrong with the food.

Bob Ryan said that everyone knew that prior to this season, that it was a rebuilding season. You are crazy if you don't see that. Papelbon, Lester, Delcarmen, Hansen, Coco, Youks and Wily Mo are all young, and some of them have really hurt us this year. But you can't give up on them because they have had some rough outings. They are all in the young 20s, and some had to be rushed up to the majors.

Whatever. This team has an amazing nucleus, and with some age, additions and patience, can become a championship team again..

This is so right. . .going into this series I was optomistic and thought we had a good team but now I relize that this isnt the year the bullpen just isnt good enough. Unless they drastically turn it around its just not happening this year. But on the bright side, these kids are very good, even beckette is so young that he can easily turn into a dominate pitcher not just some kid who throws hard. Hey, maybe in 2 years this will be the best team in the bigs b/c of these kids who are struggling now. I hate that yankees and hate seeing the Red Sox loose like this. . .it makes me want to scream but Ive got a lot of conifidance in these kids for more success down the years. These kids and a couple more sighnings and we will be very good.

I just don't get how people can get so upset about losing 5 in a row to the thumping NY Yankees when just 1 week earlier, the Sox lost 5 in a row to the Royals and Rays. I guess I'm glad I don't live in NE right now. If you couldn't see where this year was heading from day one then you were watching with blinders on all season.

And this crazy arguement that "well, we pay this much for tickets wo we're owed this much" is actually quite funny. Since when are the Sox entitled to anything? (or the Pats??).

wow, Pinstripes...you certainly bring a lot to the table. Keep on posting, as the manner in which you represent the Yankees does wonders for the image of their fans.

You are starting to remember 2004 aren't you. Some doubt creeping in? Just when you thought the Red Sox were a corpse in 2004 they rose up and slowly steamrolled your team and fans into the turf. I still remember that jerk in the upperdeck at Yankee Stadium dressed as the ghost of Babe Ruth. Did he hurl himself out of the upperdeck? You will never be the same. We tell you the Sox are dead, but you are stll looking over your shoulder. The scars are deep.

i was watching classic espn last nite

their topic was greatest chokes of all time

we broke the top 15 twice

78 and 86

but the all time greatest choke of all time now rests in the bronx

and its impossible to beat and can only be tied

its amazing how much mileage i can get out of those 10days from 04

This is a funny thread because it's saying how wise the Red Sox are for taking a year off or whatever you people call losing miserably these days...

the yankees have 2 ridiculous power pitchers ready to pitch in 1-2 years, we're gonna sign the WBC mvp this offseasn, OH...and our horrible farm system is ALSO boasting Melky Cabrera and Robinson Cano who are absolutely annihilating the Sox this year...

I hope every one of you cries tonight because you suck ass.

mods... ban please

Ban him for what? Telling us that the Sox suck? That we are fools for buying this line about re-tooling, building for the future and not making moves that would compromise the future? I agreem that these excuses sound ridiculous. The more Theo makes these excuses the more hollow they sound. Whether the future will be bright, only time will tell, but we do know that the team stinks right now.

Isn't it sad when someone that hates your team has more faith in them than you do?

Paranoia is always sad.

Not as sad as someone who claims to hate a team ... then complains when his team doesn't act like the team he hates.

The thing about the Yankees that I would like to see the Red Sox emulate is the winning. It's sad that you can't figure that out. It's fairly obvious. Maybe you just like losing.:dunno:

You obviously want them to over spend like the Yankees as well. You never stop crying about Damon and Petey.

No, I complain about them overspending on the likes of Clement and Renteria, and trash like Hinske. I am disappointed that they don't spend their money to get value like Damon and Petey. Wow! I must be messed up.
