  1. Phillies take the lead on a Burrell line drive HR
  2. Hamels is keeping them in the game, but Howard and Utley are going to have to do something for the Phillies to win...
  3. I don't think you can just say if the Phillies lose tonight, they are done. Their offense has the potential to go off at any time, regardless of the pitching matchups. Edit: As does the Dodgers offense, I expect a roller-coaster series. Phillies in 7
  4. PHILLIESSSS
  5. I'm pretty sure Cashman knows he made a mistake not dealing for Santana, but there's no point in saying publically, that doesn't really send a good message to your young guys.
  6. My fear is that Youk and Pedroia split votes while the blatantly inferior Morneau runs away with it.
  7. Go White Sox...Morneau will not be the MVP if the Twins miss the playoffs.
  8. Why isn't anyone paying attention to Youk... .315/.392/.573, 29 HR, 115 RBI, 56.9 VORP .304/.376/.507, 23 HR, 129 RBI, 47.3 VORP .325/.375/.493, 17 HR, 83 RBI, 20 SB, 61.9 VORP That's Youk-Morneau-Pedroia, and yes, Coco, I jacked your s***.
  9. Youkilis should be the MVP...he's having a better year than Morneau, and Pedroia.
  10. Personally, I find Lester's table to be pretty quality.
  11. Extremely doubtful.
  12. Jury's still out on most of these in the last few years.
  13. I don't really know (with a lefty coming to the plate and the winning run in scoring position) how leaving someone in who lefties have destroyed this year is the same as bringing in someone who's been effective against them, but ok.
  14. lol? Bring someone, anyone in from the pen...not like I was supporting Tito at the time, you don't have to believe me but I was 100% against leaving Timlin in at the time. Sorry though, you're right, it's not like lefties are OPSing 1.076 off Timlin this year (and .345 off Chris Smith in a limited sample size).
  15. Doesn't mean you have to concede the game which is pretty much what was done leaving Timlin in.
