Nah man, on a serious note...those four games were bad, but hey that was then and this is now and I don't know any Yankees fans who give a s*** about 2004 anymore, its good it happened- it made us all tougher and hate you that much more...the Red Sox have 86 years of chokes stored away on video tape, the Yankees had one weeks worth pretty much...I have a good website that chronicles decade after decade of Red Sox humiliation I can send you (its astonishing!) all while the Yankees have won 39 pennants and 26 world titles. yes you may have won more recently, but that will change soon enough...and frankly, your team is absolutely terrible. Really, really bad. Your organization sucks, your New England culture sucks, I hate Boston with every bone in my body because you're all pussy whiners who have an inferiority complex with New Yorkers; and it gets tiring to see all those losers with backwards visors in the bleachers at Fenway bang each other with Manny's dreadlocks on Sportscenter every so often. This is a funny thread because it's saying how wise the Red Sox are for taking a year off or whatever you people call losing miserably these days... the yankees have 2 ridiculous power pitchers ready to pitch in 1-2 years, we're gonna sign the WBC mvp this offseasn, OH...and our horrible farm system is ALSO boasting Melky Cabrera and Robinson Cano who are absolutely annihilating the Sox this year... im sure mariano will be fine...he just needs to be more sharp...right now the red sox are looking cutter, and if its not snappy, they will pound it...if he sharpens up his mechanics he'll be very effective again. i wouldn't mind seeing him start throwing changes either..

Whoa whoa...i never said the Yankees are scott free of pitching question marks (although i do believe their's are sizeably less)...i was simply stating that the sox will have problems that may hurt their chances. especially in the postseason due to the loss of pedro martinez which will leave them with a sharp decline after schilling.

The sox are bound to have a bunch of pitching problems this season. However, I do believe they will still find a way to win 90+ games. Its just a shame because the Yankees will find a way to win more than the Red Sox like every year. Here's the difference. The sox do not have the luxury of pedro martinez for 2 starts in a playoff series anymore. When it comes playoff time, the Yankees will not only have 5 capable starters and a formidable pen, but Randy Johnson who will be able to pitch 3 times in a playoff series with no problem. Ouch! The sox only have 1 dominant pitching force, curt schilling who is in much worse shape physically than johnson. The red sox do have a little bit of worrying to do, atleast in october.

As a Yankees fan,i can't wait to see David Wells serve a hanger to Sheffield when it counts, and then when the ball lands in new hampshire he'll flip off the fans, curse at reporters, throw second base, punch an old person and swell Bourbon. What a guy!

It was marked by racism, whiney fans, a losing tradition, and scummy players on the field. You have all the right in the world to celebrate for what transpired last year, but its getting annoying now. With opening day about a month away...this needs to slow down at the least. The yankees are the most motivated/pissed off group of sportsmen in civilization right now, and you're numero uno on their sh*t list. Have you realized why the yankees don't retaliate on these verbal attacks? Because they are the better men. They have more class. And when they get provoked to retaliate they just smirk, because they know last year will not happen again.
