Clement is never going to be as good as he was with the Cubs again. EVer since he took the liner off of the head, he has been terrible. Wells is old, but he is more useful than Clement

No offense but RJ probably has amazing postseason stats and I wouldn't take him over many pitchers at this point. The similarity between RJ and Wells is that they are both pretty old, and Wells has pitched how many innings this year? Once he pitches more than 10 innings this season maybe I will have some faith in him.

schilling, foulke, manny, pedro, etc etc etc. Every team has bought a championship every single yr, because to truly not buy a championship, every single player on your team has to be a former sox farmhand who has grown with the team. It is an idealistic view of your team, when you call another team one that is trying to buy a championsip, because technically, every single WS winner going back to ruth's days were assembled by buying players....

I'm not sure any team can not buy a championship. The Yankees have a grand total of 2 homegrown players and every chamionship team has to bring in that key acquisition to fill it. This is not 40s baseball, it is free agency
