i dont know why he got banned outside the fact that he acted like he invented the game of baseball and was rude surely and condesending to everyone he dealt with

there was probably a better reason than the above

f*** him. He was a no good instigating Yankee fan prick that was prone to temper tantrums. Good riddance. It's frightening that such an unstable person is an MD. Say a prayer for his patients.

i agree 100% which furthers my argument that jarret wright shouldnt be a starter

that yanks pen has been abused badly by torre and with wright and chacon both unable to go deep into games its going to kill whats left of that bullpen.

Octavio Dotel coming back for this upcoming series should help the pen. Hopefully Joe doesnt kill him too.

Damn, personal comments? You don't even know the guy, relax man. Speaking of instability, you fitthat description quite well. You're feelings towards the Yankees (not even going to call it hatrid, because what you have towards the Yankees is way beyond hatrid), you're constant contradictingof yourself (bashing Yankee steroid users, but saying its no big deal when Paxton Crawford admits to using), the hateful feelings you develop for a person (Riv) from a f***ING MESSAGE BOARD!

Relax man, no need to get so damn worked up because you didnt agree with a particular poster.

DIdn't they just clear him to throw off flat ground today? How could they be bringing him up for the upcoming series?

You're right, not this upcoming series, but soon. He's been pitching rehab in Columbus for a while, and was with the Yankees in Philly this weekend on his way to Trenton to due a little bit more rehab. He should be in New York if not for the end of this series, for the start of the next one.

I wouldn't count on him too much this season. He's not about to risk his career by pushing himself too fast. He's getting paid whether he makes it back or not this year.

He'll be back this year, in fact within the next 7 days. He's talked about how much he wants to get back out there and help the team. Pctavio is a competitive guy, i'm sure he's not doggin it with the thought "i'm getting paid regardless" in mind. If that was the case he would still be pitching extended Spring Training (if that's still going on) or in rookie ball.

He'll do enough to get invited to ST next year and win a job. I'm glad that you are expecting big things from Dotel. One of my favorite past-times is watching Yankee fans being disappointed.

Fever Pitch sucks by the way.

It sucks moose dick (not that moose). Casting a hollywood fruitcake to play one of Jimmy Fallon's cronies was painful. The movie might have actually been better if they lost. :wetodd:

hes an abrasive prick but i kind of liked him

he certainly could be entertaining.

The kid was utterly predictable...and that was one of the fun things about having him around. You knew exactly what to say to elicit an emotional and less than thoughtful response from him.

In the BH forum he gave me some s***...once. just once. I friggin hammered him on some of his less than politically correct, insensitive or just plain ridiculous comments and he kept it above board after that.

If you played along with him he was a douche...if you stayed firm with him he was ok.

i think he was an only child jim

he mustve been,he really really struggled in dealing with everyone that didnt see things in his lite...he tried,he really did and i think on a 1-1 basis with an adult he'd be ok.

the thing that confused me about him was his marriage

hes in medschool 15 hours a day and posting here the other 9 andhe was a newlywed.

did he kill his wife or did she leave him after randy johnson gave up 6 against anaheim last october??

I really didn't have a problem with him once we established I didn't appreciate his condescending nature.

The marriage...peculiar. I thought my wife was a saint to put up with some of my b.s.but his must already have her wings.

Looks like the Yankees are willing to wait all night to get this game in. Don't blame them with tomorrow's forecast or who they're playing.

I just heard a report that no make up date has been announced for today's rainout. Optimist is the DH info solid?

I'm pretty sure Bob Lorenz said the game was going to be played at 8 tomorrow. He definitely said there were two games tomorrow.

Edit: It says there will be a day-night double header tomorrow on the Yankees website.

Thanks. The forecast for tomorrow looks pretty bad too.

The scheduled pitcher for the Marlins in game 2 of the DH, making his MLB debut, will be Anibal Sanchez. And, just like FOX on Saturday afternoons, ESPN has exclusive broadcast rights on Sunday nights, so no T.V. outside the local market. Bud "the Dud" needs to fix this exclusivity s*** so that baseball fans who pony up the dough can watch whatever f***ing game they want to.
