They cannot deal the 6th pick for Love. They'd only have been able to do that with a top 3, as those are the only transcendent talents in this draft. There are probably a bunch of other productive players here, but those are the only "can't miss" guys

Minnesota has to trade him somewhere, because he's gone after next season one way or the other. We can deal draft picks more comfortably than most everyone else thanks to the extra ones we got in that Garnett/Pierce trade that Palodios is so sad about (I feel you champ, I was really looking forward to that 38 win season too).

I'm perfectly fine with trading away pieces for value -- they stockpiled extremely well the last year or two. Wanting a losing team is what seems silly to me.

Gordon and Vonleh are guys who have "athleticism" and "upside" and literally nothing else. Classic bust material. Exum is a top 4 lock unless he pulls a Kobe and forces his way to LA somehow. Randle is definitely redundant for us, although he could be an attractive post-Love PF for the Wolves. I think Smart's the best pick if we keep it, he's tough and he knows how to play.

The only difference between a 20 win team and 35-40 win team is the amount of opportunities you get to turn things around. The 20 win team will get many, the 35-40 win team will get very few and be stuck in Pistonsville forever.

You move Rondo and you go into full out rebuild. Smart, Olynyk, and Sullinger are nice pieces, but I think you easily become the Bucks assuming you're dealing Rondo for picks in later years

I know Ibaka is injured, but what the actual f*** are the Thunder doing? Spurs absolutely raped them and I just don't see anyway OKC can come back from this 0-2 deficit.

I feel rejuvenated now that Ibaka's back! OKC is probably going to win the next 4, since 3 of them are at home.

Ill bet you $100 that OKC doesn't win 4 games in a row, with or without Ibaka.

Deal. I feel good based on what happened last night.

I'm disgusted Cleveland yet again has the 1st pick. f***ing absurd. They might as well just put one ball in for each team. The extra balls mean jack.

Also in the age of ratings grabbing I still can't believe they don't televise the drawing.

Lance Stephenson is such a moron, his comments about Lebron were just stupid and I'm glad to see Lebron absolutely rape him and put him in his place. Also Roy Hibbert is a scrub, there was a play where he got abused by rashard Lewis smh

what they should do is keep the percentages based on finish, but then tweak the percentage of the teams who won the first pick in the last three years to make the odds even longer. Or if you got the first pick in the last three years, you can't get it again period.

They only had a 1.7% chance or something like that. I would rather have seen the Lakers get the 1st pick, seriously. I dislike the Cavs based only on they have gotten so many 1st picks while the Celtics get into the top 5 ever.

What they should do is perform the entire lottery process in public, in front of the cameras, so that there's no possible way to accuse them of fixing it. Doing it in a closed-off back room isn't exactly adding to their credibility. Other than that I don't have an issue with the process, although it is unfortunate that top talent keeps getting wasted on an inept slagheap of a franchise like the Cavs.

Ideal 1-2-3 for me would have been Celtics 1 and the Sixers and Lakers at 2 or 3. That would have set the league up pretty well for the long term, assuming no one s*** the bed.

But there are representatives from each team watching the lottery behind closed doors. I'm not sure it needs to be on live tv.

No matter how many team representatives they have, if the process isn't public, some people will always come up with some wacko conspiracy theories.

There were enough conspiracy theories when the lottery was televised (frozen envelope). Not sure it would make a difference.

It's all foolishness. Who wants to see ping pong balls be taken out of a drum? They used to show it.

Cleveland just got lucky with all their balls. I don't believe that any of the top picks are "franchise players' but don't follow armature ball enough to really know.

GO CELTICS!

This is all over the internets, so I might as well annoy everyone and post it here too:

My team would be: Pippen ($1), Jordan ($5), Bird ($4), Duncan ($3), Olajuwon ($1), with $1 left over for a snack I guess.
