Injured for past 2 seasons. Can't shoot. Not a great defender. Only motivated in the playoffs and this isn't a playoff team. His contract is up in June and he outright told some teams he wouldn't re-sign with them.

An old-as-f*** team that had absolutely no business going that far. Splitting them was seen as a possibility among media/fans then, so it wouldn't have come as too much of a shock if it had happened.

Nice to see the Wiz make quick work of Toronto. I can't put into words how positive Paul Pierce has been for this team. It goes far beyond just stats. He has really helped Wall, Beal and especially Otto Porter. On top his leadership, his trash talking of Toronto and backing it up by throughout the series hitting clutch 3's was awesome. This is two years in a row, on two different teams that Pierce has s*** on Toronto on and off the court.

Yeah, Wizards have been completely lost in both 4th quarter games without Wall, they let Atlanta blow them out in game 2 due to a horrible 4th and tonight almost blew that huge lead due to stupid possessions where Bynum or Sessions stood around and jacked up contested shot as shot clock expired.

 

Wall needs to come back ASAP, its such a bummer he got hurt, his impact on the court goes beyond just stats, him and Pierce are the leader of the team and the amount of easy shots Wall is able to get Gortat, Beal and etc is unbelievable. Sessions is a solid backup, but he is nowhere near Wall and it showed today. Thankfully Wiz got the win and can give Wall a little extra time to get healthy.

I've been watching this series. Glad to see them doing well for your sake. Overall, I haven't watched much of the Playoffs, as they just seem different without OKC in there.

 

On a side note, how about Mike Conley tonight? He put the Warriors under pressure for the first time all season. They can easily win this series now.

Conley has been a huge difference maker in that series, he has really made life difficult for Curry. It sucks seeing all these good players injured in playoffs though. Wall and Love have been big losses for Wizards and Cavs and Conley and CP3 are nowhere near 100%.

 

Grizzlies are just a team that is built for the playoffs. They are all around great defensively (especially Conley, Allen and Gasol) and come up with tough buckets time and time again, their style has definitely been giving Golden State issues.
