    Bregman healed so slowly last year, and looked very much "station to station" even when we were in the playoffs. I would need a doctor to sign off on the medicals. Bregman looked old. If Doc says he was healing slow but its in the past now (or will be) than bregman > bo. Im not very interested in bo, the ws with another team doesnt matter much to me.

    Avoiding holes isnt as important to me as getting elite players.

    The difference in potency between schwarber and alonso is massive. I would understand if htey were close but they arent. Schwarber is a top 10 hitter, alonso isnt in my top 30.

    hitting (50%) = pitching (40%) + defense (10%) that defesne can sink you, but you dont pass on the sixth best hitter in baseball (when you have 0 hitters in the top 50) because you are worried about ideal defensive alignment. Schwarber transforms this team.

    I dont build a team with 9 positions to check off, thats too old school minded. I get the best 9 bats i can and figure it out, cuz thats roster building in 2025.

    What do you mean "how the roster shapes out" You build rosters top down. Not bottom up. You get the studs first. If we have a hole or 2 thats fine, as long as we have the studs and schwarber is a stud. Right now we have 0 (hitting wise, crochet is obvs a stud)

    someone give me the btv on Roman Anothy Cedanne Harrison Garcia for Corbin Carroll and Ketel Marte I would think its like 70 for RA, 40 for Cedanne, 15 for Harrison, 15 for Garcia so around 140 and then Carroll would be like 100 and Marte would be like 50.

    I initially tried also swapping Nav for Moreno in my quest to get corbin carroll and Marte, but I dropped that. Gotta stay reasonable.

    Drohan was not protected in a previous season (to manys surprise) and was taken and returned like song. But drohan had a very good year in aaa last year and is 26 so could easily get drafted due to age and aaa season (showing ml readiness) He entered my personal radar because i have a lot of friends who went to florida st and are fans.

    Im only board if they continue to call it the 40 man when its a max of 42. Kind of like how the big 12 and big 10 conferences keep adding schools and are up to like 20 each now, but yet wont change the name of the conference.

    I dont think they are getting Bregman. I think Alonso is most likely.
