    One of the beat reporters said we offered 6 years and 171.5 million. Some people think the cubs are going hard after Bregman. Others think it is Arizona. no one is mentioning Detroit, but everybody says our offer mirrors the Detroit offer from last year!

    The question is, does he get the pitch movement back after the surgery? if yes, he was a decent pitcher. if no, there is always the bullpen.

    Hence the push for Bregman. I think Tolle and early can also help as lefties in the bullpen. Especially after Moran flames out the hole in the rotation behind crochet is our biggest problem!

    In college, I tore my acl, mcl, pcl and the patella tendon (all on one play from scrimmage) and it was 18 months for the patella tendon to heal. two years without being able to play sports was very hard.

    I think bres-slow is trying very hard to do whatever he can to get Bregman signed.

    2024 Duran is worth a top of the rotation starter 2025 Duran. Not so much! Bres-slow playing the long game apparently

    Health is a wild card for all 30 teams! And injuries happen to all 30 teams. And it seems injuries always strike where teams have the least amount of depth! Another reason to start the year with as much quality depth as follows.

    So bres-slow is waiting for some team to offer a top of the rotation starter for one of our outfielders! and boras is waiting for bres-slow to go to 6 years on a Bregman deal!! who blinks first???

    So far this offseason, bres-slow has only traded away fringe roster players. why would he start trading guys that actually contributed a good bit in 2025?

    Not sure why we are looking at war. I am talking head to head playoff matchups game 1 - crochet (bos). Cole (ny). Gausman (tor). I feel confident in crochet game 2 - gray (bos). Fried (ny). Bieber (tor). I have no confidence gray can win this. game 3 - bello (bos). Rodon (ny). Cease (tor). I have no confidence in bello to win. game 4 - Oviedo (bos). Shitlister (ny). Pounce (tor). I have no clue what we have in Oviedo. Two options available to us. option 1 - we sign framber. I feel confident he has a chance in game 2 against fried or Bieber. option 2 - we throw cutter in game 2 and take the loss. Then pray gray can take game 3.

    Just look at the rotations that the Yankees and blue jays have!!!! we clearly have the better number 1 pitcher of the three teams, gray and bello could be very competitive at the number 3 and 4 spots against those two rotations it is the number 2 spot that is a grand canyon size hole for us!!! It forces gray to go against fried, (loss for us) then bello against rondon (loss for us) and Oviedo against shitlister (no idea on this one) I feel much better about our chances if gray is pitching in the number 3 hole
