    1.) we sign Alonso for 1B. Casas to Worcester. 2.) we sign short stop Kim and move story to 2nd base. Mayer to 3b. Improves infield defense a lot!!! 3.) trade Duran and young pitchers for a number 2 starter!!

    Arizona and Boston talked Marte and exchanged names has been reported. what if bres-slow is trying to expand the trade? Is there someone else Arizona has that would interest bres-slow??

    Thus far in the winter meetings, we learned the Sox are not pursuing the twins ace anymore!!! good start for us!

    Starting pitching depth chart, my best guess: 1) Crochet 2) Gray 3) Bello 4) Crawford 5) Sandoval 6) Oviedo 7) Early 8) Tolle 9) Dobbins 10) Harrison 11) Uberstine 12) Drohan 13) Perales 14) Witherspoon 15) Phillips 16) Eyerson the first 9 look pretty good. But the drop off from 1 to 2 is huge!! Arizona wants 2 pitchers for Marte. Seems like bello and cutter (or Oviedo) could get that deal done !!!!

    Deal breaker? No, nothing like that. only that Bres-slow singled out this guy for inclusion in the trade.

    I think the reliever is already 26 years old I would think bres-slow would push him to Boston pretty quickly
