    Now that training camp has begun. I think bres-slow needs a huge round of applause!! - he got us a quality number 2 starter! - he got us a quality number 3 starter! - he got us a number 5 starter. - he kept Tolle, early and Witherspoon. - he revamped the leakiest infield in the majors. I know people will complain about Bregman and the lack of power!! but outside of a lefty or two for the bullpen, I feel very confident in the outstanding offseason he had!!!

    Arizona asked for Mayer and early and bres-slow said no thanks! best no trade of the off season

    Looks like romy has a bad shoulder and may need DL time.

    Excellent trade and I like the draft pick as well!!! bres-slow’s infield looks better defensively at least! (If everybody stays healthy)

    Seems to me that Mayer is coming off surgery and has yet to play a full pro season. Story breaks down more often than a 1978 ford pinto!!! maybe the ifk signing is a preemptive signing.

    I think another shift has been an emphasis placed on defense. Hang’em Chaim did not seem to care about leaky defense. bres-slow seems determined to not give the opponent extra outs! as bres-slow continues to accumulate ground ball pitchers, having above average defenders with exceptional range becomes super important

    Uberstine is definitely a bullpen arm. I read that Cora really likes Kelly in the bullpen

    We claimed gaspar off waivers. 40 man now at 39!

    I think they are hopeful uberstine and drohan can claim those spots. I think they see Bennett as a starter. I think samsniengo is not ready yet, but definitely a bullpen arm

    The last 2 spots in the bullpen should be a real dogfight. We got a lot of contestants and I think it would help if both were left handed

    I know I am the minority here, but I have watched Mayer for parts of 3 seasons in the minors and this kid has future superstar written all over him, when he figures out the hitting! Add yo that, his defense is above average. if he can hit decently in the first part of the season while he learns major league pitching, his second half could show hints of how elite he can be. I am betting he puts it almost together by the end of the year

    That is fair. I base my expectation on the fact that he has only about 200 at bats at triple A and his last 60 at bats looked pretty good! if he picks up from that last 60 level and then raises his game, then he will force his way to Boston! they will always find room for a bat!! but you are right, that is a big “if”!! I am excited to see how it plays out for Romero in 2026!!!

    Roster construction looks a lot better and balanced if Campbell can play a decent 2nd base and if he, Mayer, Anthony and narveaz can all hit to their potential!!

    I hope Romero starts the year at Worcester, but I am hopeful that his hitting forces the Sox to have to consider him in Boston this year.

    3 time batting champ. For us Campbell reportedly been in fort Myers working as a 2nd baseman this off season.

    I cannot see any team being even remotely interested in trading for either hicks or yoshida. Regardless of how much money we send with them.

    Some of the writers think bres-slow uses spring training to audition Sandoval to the other teams

    I know I am in the minority here, but the Yankees look very very strong to me. Health permitting!!
