    The prices for starting pitching continue to skyrocket! Not sure bres-slow will be able to fill that Grand Canyon size hole at the number 2 spot in the rotation!!

    Interesting that the pitching fell apart in August and September for 2022 to 2025. say what you will about the various GM’s but maybe quick hook Cora stole some wins in each of those years early in the season, with bullpen over usage, but we paid the price in the back half of the year! I think bres-slow realized this and I cannot blame bres-slow at all for having 10 starters on the 40 man roster to start the 2026 season!!! ps: I still hope we get a quality number 2 starter before spring training starts.

    Every year is a reset with a new cliff! we get to add Anthony and Mayer for the whole year in the field. Wong, yoshida and Casas come back full year from the injured list, We add Oviedo and gray to the rotation. Cutter and dobbins come back from the injured list. We add Harrison, Watson, and immedigeno (Pittsburgh) to the bullpen! we lost Devers, Bregman and Campbell from the field. We lost giolita, houck ( injury) and buehler from the rotation. We lost Wilson and a bunch of lefties from the bullpen. rotation and bullpen are slightly improved. Field is significantly decreased, with the chance that Anthony, Mayer, Wong and cassas reduce some of the deficit

    Really? I thought desperate Dave had decent drafts for where he was picking in the draft ! none of his drafts will compare to hang’em Chaim’s drafts, but moving 15-20 spots up the draft board will do that!! the 2026 draft is the first one that we get to see the real bres-slow drafting technique in action

    I think desperate Dave’s super power was spending owners money 💰 like a drunken sailor and getting the owner to keep spending ridiculous amounts of money year after year!!! My wife has this same super power unfortunately!!!!

    I do not think it is cash or lack thereof that is keeping us from filling bigger needs! I think it is organizational philosophy!! I think bres-slow is correct in how he is approaching the big bat situation. I think we have two holes to fill: 1.) a number 2 for the rotation. 2.) another late inning reliable reliever. I am good with everything else

    The moron did restock the farm system! the desperate Dave model of team building was not sustainable! I have confidence that bres-slow can find a lane between what the dodgers do and what the rays do and we can be very successful on the field with this approach

    We do not have to trade any of our outfielders! So applaud bres-slow for not charging the maximum for any of them!!! I would prefer we keep the four we have now

    Signing options for Tucker? Maybe the Dodgers? signing options for bellinger? Maybe the Yankees? signing options for bichete? Maybe the Red Sox? Or Detroit? signing options for Bregman? Maybe the Red Sox? Or the Cubs? Or Detroit? framber, gallen and king still available! Next two months should be intriguing!!!!
