    I agree 100 percent that the official scorers are horrible. I think they are all retired Yankee scouts!

    At Worcester - Lloyd with his 2nd tater of the season. at Portland - username Garcia with his 6th tater of the season at Greenville - Guzman with his 3rd tater of the season. And cespedes with his 8th tater! at salem - opata with his 3rd tater of the season and his 20th stolen base on the year.

    I did not realize until I read it today that Cespedes suffered from hamate bone surgery all last season. thus far, a healthy hand and wrist has been very beneficial to his overall numbers.

    At Greenville - winnay with his 6th tater of the season, and Jackson with his 5th tater of the season. azocar, arias Eaton and Gonzales all with decent nights at the plate and all batted lead off for their respective teams

    Dude is the definition of frustrated and no instincts! if Campbell had a clue at Worcester, I am sure Duran would have the Fenway flu by now.

    His stuff was not really super sharp tonight. it looked like he was working on secondary stuff, velocity was noticeably lower tonight. That 60 pitch count they use for college pitchers is baffling to me!

    Is it possible Anthony got hurt (wrist) at the wbc and just trying to tough it out until things with the wrist went from bad to worse. I say that because he looked good early in spring training and then he was putrid toward the end of spring training. i never heard Cora or Tracy say anything about Anthony dealing with a wrist injury, so maybe Anthony was experiencing discomfort and thought he could play through it, but the problem got worse instead of better!! He did not look right at all after he got back from the wbc.

    That is true! Sandoval and Crawford were definitely ghosts in the machine. I did hear that Dustin May was generating interest if we want to revisit that

    For all our depth at the start of the year, we literally have no one to start if bello goes to the DL with the “Fenway flu”.

    I wonder what bres-slow could get for a quality closer like Chapman. if we do keep Chapman and do not make the playoffs, is that another “Duran wasted opportunity” for bres-slow?

    Two guys not mentioned very often, but maybe they can put it all together and surprise us and white and Tucker! Neither will be a serviceable defender, but if they can pick up the spin of the ball, maybe they can hit major league pitching

    Shortstop Pinto at Salem with another error tonight. Up to 10 on the season already, salem second baseman Tucker with 7 errors already. I wonder how the Salem pitching staff feels about the leaky defense

    I have seen Valera pitch this year, pre injury. There is no team in such desperate position for pitching that should take Valera in the rule 5 next year. (If the rule 5 draft is still around after the strike!)
