Does Martinez opt out at the end of this season? Could chavis be a future dh? His glove is terrible and instincts non existent. Devers has to get moved to first. His defense is causing him mental anguish which is retarding his development as a hitter! Plus the pitchers are having a hard time concealing their angst every time he bungles a play.

I watched pedrioa swing in his rehab start and he needs more time. The swing is not fluid and he favors the leg. I’d hate to lose a guy because we brought pedrioa back for a week until he broke down again. Best thing we could do is put him on the 60 day dL and move on. Revisit his situation in The offseason,
