  1. Sadly, we were building a monster self sustaining minor league feeder system under Ben. Is it worth one World Series title for what is looking like an upcoming decade of failure or at best mediocrity? Henry has no one to blame except Larry and himself.
  2. Is the “cut payroll mandate” an excuse for signing a terrible batch of pitchers? Talent identification is paramount in his job and he just embarrassed himself this past offseason! Time to see what the youngsters can do.
  3. Time to play the youngsters and move the garbage out of town. I will volunteer to pack Perez and Weber’s stuff!
  4. Myocarditis is serious stuff. So after weeks of breathing broken glass, apparently some people recovering from the virus wind up getting this nasty gift. Worst two for one anybody could ever be unfortunate enough to contract. Another reason, I am not letting my daughter go back to school next month. This decease is vicious deadly to some patients and debilitating to other patients and some patients wind up showing no symptoms. The craziest game of Russian roulette ever.
  5. Time to call this season for what it is. A turd! Play the youngsters and let’s see what we got. Duran, dalbec, Chavis, houck, etc. Ps: hang’em Chaim - please go back to scout school and learn how to properly scout pitchers. No more Perez’s, Weber’s, etc. your rookie 2020 class of pitching signings is beyond awful! This coming offseason, please sign a pitcher with actual talent!
  6. The best thing that could happen for us this season is we come out of this with the first overall draft pick.
  7. Why shouldn’t we totally tank this year and get as high a draft pick as possible? Betts and price are gone. Sale is a wreck. Nathan’s UCL makes a violin string look strong. Bradley and Martinez have their bags packed ready to bolt at first chance. When you are saying Weber, hall, Perez and Johnson in the same sentence as starter, then you know your team is circling the tidy bowl. Hang.’em Chaim, this is probably going to be your one and only chance blow up the dombrowski mess and rebuild the right way.
  8. I think they signed 2 more.
  9. What has he done to merit “trust”?
  10. The key with this kid is the hit tool. If it is that good coming off of shoulder surgery, then you have to think that once he is 100 percent, he could be special. Hang’em Chiam is making an upside gamble. And if hang’em Chaim gets the kid signed significantly under slot, then the hedge is a tough sign draftee later in the draft.
  11. Dear motard, I think you owe an apology to everyone that tried to explain this eventual outcome to you over the past 6 months, but you were too mentally challenged to comprehend!
  12. Evoldi looking really good again today. With the cutter working, he is an entirely different pitcher from last season.
  13. And on a scale of one to ten, how is henry’s long term strategy for fielding a competitive team year after year looking going forward? Our starting pitching depth is thinner than a sheet of paper. Our best position player now plays for the dodgers. The farm system is a hollow picked over shell of what it once was. The brightest and best of our baseball operations department are now in Arizona, Chicago and other markets around the country. Our baseball analytics department is filled with substandard geeks and run by a guy that couldn’t get laid in a women’s prison. I know the history of how we got to this point in time. What I fail to grasp is where is the strategy going forward?
  14. Catchers are really hard to find, he calls a decent game and his framing is at least average. Pitchers seem to like throwing to him. The bat is what seems to vary year to year, but he has a little pop. He seems like a nice investment as long as hang’em Chaim does not overpay!
  15. That is true. Unfortunately his stuff was all over the place. He could look really good vs. one hitter and really bad vs. the next hitter.
  16. If anybody can explain how or why Henry makes the decisions he makes, when it comes to the Sox and their front office, I would love to hear it,
  17. Watching mazza pitch is just flat out painful. How is he still on the team?
  18. Ever since they became part of the rat’s organization, espn has been on a downward spiral.
  19. I can not believe we are not trying to lock this kid up long term right now. Should we try to lock up Vazquez long term as well?
  20. When I heard something similar to your clue #2 last summer, that is when I knew sale was not well and would not be well without surgery. I knew when he came back for spring training, he was X number of throws from needing Tommy John. The question now is why would they be waiting?
  21. If we go over, he will be smart enough Henry’s pre approval.
  22. Does mchugh’s signing mean we are passing on buchholz?
  23. That was an amazing catch! He has a ton of great catches, and that one is one of his best.
