  1. Is he a little bit ahead of sale on the race to Tommy John surgery?
  2. I have been really impressed with Duran thus far in camp. Stays back on the ball and swings straight through the ball. Hopefully he has a good year in the minors and makes the big club next year,
  3. Duran is continuing to impress me.
  4. clearly the analytics department is not projecting he brings enough to the table to justify the signing!
  5. How many spring training innings did Rodriguez throw last year? He seemed to come out of spring training throwing a decent ball.
  6. Bradley’s timing is really off. He is late on everything.
  7. Severino appears to be having arm issues.
  8. Hang’em Chaim is feasting at the “retread” buffet. He has signed nearly a half dozen retreads this far.
  9. Betts? Who is that?
  10. Amen brother! Total agreement!
  11. Where does Myers play if we acquire him?
  12. I think hang’em Chaim is aiming for a different category of pitcher. He seems to be looking for a young controllable pitcher with a flaw or two that if he fixes, will pay off big time. Could be total genius if it works!
  13. We got 1 ring under desperate Dave, however due to his scorched earth policy, we now have a roster bloated with big time contracts, tons of sore armed pitchers and a desolate wasteland of a minor league system. How many more rings could we have had if Henry has not been bipolar and kept changing the strategy and GM? Ps: if the cassas of today had been in our system six years ago, I doubt he even cracks our top ten!
  14. I do not know who Alex is, but I question he missed the mass exodus from the baseball operations and analytics department during the dark days of desperate Dave, Most of our brightest and best are now in Arizona, Houston, Oakland and even some in Tampa bay! Clearly Alex would make Stevie wonder look great at poker!!!
  15. How does hang’em Chaim make this projected roster work when all our brightest and best have left our analytics department thanks to desperate Dave? The guy currently running it, who could not get laid in a women’s prison, is in charge of a couple D students, a couple high school drop outs and a dozen developmentally challenged kids. Despite everything hang’em Chaim may yet prove his worth! (Hopefully before bipolar Henry forgets to take his meds and changes the organization’s direction ... yet again!)
  16. The season is a marathon not a sprint. Anything can happen along the way and health trumps everything! So maybe sale’s arm does not fall off. Maybe Rodriguez does not take a step back, maybe eavoldi’s cutter comes back, That’s why they play the games,
  17. I think you are missing point. It is not the trades we made, it is the fact that we made the trades. We drained the minor league system because Henry switched gear and went bipolar on us.
  18. Who said anything about moncada?
  19. When it comes to Henry, the biggest thing that concerns me is the bipolar thinking Lack of consistent strategy, 1.) we dump Theo. We hire Ben and henry says we need to start the process of building a minor league feeding system that can crank out quality players and with some free agent augmentation, we can build a sustainable program that can compete every year. We get lucky and win a World Series! 2.) two-three years into the rebuild, we have several last place finishes, but the number 1 ranked farm system in baseball. 3.) Henry nuts up from the pressure from several last place finishes and puts lucky Larry in charge of over seeing Ben. Lucky Larry signs some really bad contracts in an effort to speed up the rebuild. It fails. Lucky Larry is booted. 4.) Henry then changes direction and pulls the plug on the rebuild and boots Ben while hiring desperate Dave. Henry tells desperate Dave to win now. Desperate Dave guts the minor league system in trades. Desperate Dave gives out some huge contracts. Desperate Dave has the most expensive payroll in baseball. Desperate Dave runs off all the best and brightest from our baseball operations department and our analytics department. 5.) desperate Dave wins a World Series, but his scorched earth tactics has left us bereft of any talent in the front office and minor league system and we are left with huge contracts and many sore armed pitchers. 6.) Henry reverses course yet again and dumps desperate Dave and brings in hang’em Chaim. He gives hang’em Chaim an executive order, get under the salary cap and get a reset. Hang’em Chaim trades Betts and price! People get upset that we can be competitive in 2020. Henry please pick a lane and strategy and stick to it!!!! Henry your bipolar decease is treatable!
  20. With verdugo out of action, it gives someone else a chance to step up and take advantage of the opportunity. Chavis? Dalbec? Durran?
  21. Lugo could turn out to be a mini Betts kind of steal.
  22. We have some enticing pieces we could package for a starter. But Hang'em Chaim looks like he wants to do the opener thing with us in 2020.
  23. How about we learn how to consistently develop our homegrown starters?
  24. As much as I can not stand the Yankees, last I looked, they had 20 plus championships more than us, Although almost 2/3 of their great teams of the 20’s were our guys that our owner sold off to them to finance broadway plays! So technically, we probably would have won most of those.
  25. If we get a reset this year, next offseason could be interesting. However, would bloom trade martinez at the trade deadline this upcoming year if someone offered us a bag of used baseballs for him?
