Most all of us here knew sale’s arm snapped last year. I think hang’em Chaim knew this a long time ago as well.
Getting out from the payroll nightmare should now allow hang’em Chaim to implement whatever he was planning for this moment!
I do hope he is 100% healthy this year. Because if he is, chances are we probably make the playoffs this year.
But we have to be realistic and prepare for the worst! Arm injuries just don’t go away.
Looking at chavis’s swing this spring and besides his timing bring way off, he is lunging and not staying back on the ball. Opposing pitchers are going to have a field day with him, unless they make a mistake.
Just for the record, I did not suggest we should trade devers in this post.
If hang’em Chaim could pawn sale (and his soon to snap ucl) off on the braves for some prime time pitching prospects, that would be a huge win for us!

Can Weber win the fifth starter spot in the rotation?
The competition is really weak this year for the end of the rotation,
Does hang’em Chaim have a trade in store for a starter before the end of spring training?
Mazza looked terrible. No control, no movement, nothing special as far as his stuff.
Maybe we could trade him to the angels for a bucket of used baseballs.
I have been really impressed with Duran thus far in camp. Stays back on the ball and swings straight through the ball.
Hopefully he has a good year in the minors and makes the big club next year,
